ALBANY, N.Y. (NEWS10) -- C.H. Evans Brewing Albany Pump Station officially closed its doors on Sunday, October 29. This comes at Common Roots Brewing Company prepares to take over the space. "Through the good times and the bad, we have been a staple in downtown Albany for 24 years. The sale will reportedly being going through on Wednesday, said a manager at C.H. Evans Brewing. ST. LOUIS -- A woman was carjacked in The Grove late Sunday night. The suspects appear to be still on the run.On the night of October 29, 2023, at around 10:30 p.m. a carjacking took place in the 4100 block of Manchester Street. The victim, a 29-year-old woman, was sitting in her parked vehicle in the rear lot of a business. Two men approached her, with one suspect on the driver's side and the other on the passenger side. It was clear that both suspects had guns. This caused the victim to exit her black 2022 Volkswagen Taos. The suspects then stole the vehicle.Police have not yet recovered the vehicle. ST. LOUIS -- Police were called to the 7800 block of Rio Silva Place on October 29, 2023, at 10:40 a.m. to investigate a shooting. The victim, a 42-year-old man, was found in the kitchen of a vacant apartment with gunshot wounds. The victim was pronounced deceased at the scene.The police have not yet named a suspect. The Garfield County Sheriff’s Office is investigating after employees discovered a body armed with weapons and bombs inside Glenwood Caverns Adventure Park on Saturday morning.The 22-year-old man’s body was discovered prior to the opening of the park and was not related to any of the rides at the park, according to the Garfield County Sheriff’s Office.Officials said the unidentified man was from the Carbondale area, but did not release his name.In a Monday morning news release, the sheriff’s office said the man was dressed in black tactical clothing with body armor and a ballistic helmet, bearing patches and emblems that gave the appearance of being associated with law enforcement.The sheriff’s office said he entered the park after hours without authorization.According to the release, the man was heavily armed with a semi-automatic rifle, a semi-automatic handgun and multiple loaded magazines for both weapons.
